LCCC has partnered with Active Network to provide online registration and payment for campers and registration for staff.  Active has a very good reputation for being safe, secure, and easy to use.  LCCC no longer accepts any form of paper/mail-in registration.  All campers must be registered online by a parent/guardian.

Early-bird rates are available for all sessions (a $25 discount).  Two weeks prior to each session beginning, the early-bird rate will expire.  Please register as early as possible to ensure a spot in your desired camp session.

Camp Policies

Dress Code:

Cell Phones:

Cell Phones:

Campers and staff are expected to dress modestly, in a manner that does not contradict the message of Christ.  The following dress code applies to all campers and staff, both male and female.

Clothing that displays designs, slogans, or images that are not Christ-like are not to be worn.  Tank tops and spaghetti straps are not allowed.  Shirts that are low-cut and show any of the midsection are not to be worn.  Shorts and skirts should be a modest length - at least as low as your fingertips when standing.  Short running shorts and tight pants are not allowed.  Saggy pants or shorts are not allowed (underwear should never be visible).

If any camper or staff member is found to be in violation of this dress code, they will be asked to change.  As with any other disciplinary issue, individuals who continually choose to disregard this policy will be asked to leave.

Cell Phones:

Cell Phones:

Campers are not allowed to have cell phones at camp.  If a camper has a phone with them, it is to be turned in to the camp director upon registration and will be returned before departure at the end of the camp session.  If parents need to contact their child during a camp session, they can do so by calling the camp phone or by making arrangements with the director beforehand.

Lice Policy:

Lice Policy:

Lice Policy:

Head lice have become an increasingly serious problem in schools, camps, and other communities.  Unfortunately, they are part of life wherever groups of people are gathered.  Camps, such as Lariat Creek, are especially vulnerable because they are closed, close-contact communities.  Lice are not a sign of dirty homes or poor hygiene practices (as once thought), but are simply a nuisance that can affect anyone with hair.

For the protection and safety of all campers and staff, Lariat Creek Christian Camp has a no nit policy.  This means that, if it is determined that a camper currently has head lice or nits, the camper will not be permitted to attend or remain at camp.  The camper will need to seek treatment for the lice at home.

  1. Each camper and staff member will be checked for lice/nits upon arrival to camp.
  2. If a camper is found to have lice or nits while at camp, the parents or emergency contact will be called to come pick up the camper.  The camper will be separated from their cabin and not allowed to participate in camp activities until they are treated.  Every effort will be made not to single-out or embarrass any camper.
  3. The camper may be permitted to return to camp if they come back lice and nit-free.  Upon arrival, the camper will be checked by the camp nurse before being allowed to rejoin the rest of the group.
  4. In addition to treating the camper, the camper's clothing, bedding, hats, etc. must also be treated before returning to camp.
  5. The parents of the other campers in the cabin will be contacted to let them know that lice was present in the cabin.  They will be encouraged to check their child's hair when they return from camp and pursue treatment, if necessary.

Parents are asked to inspect their children's heads for lice prior to sending them to camp.  Additionally, churches who bring groups of campers together in vans or busses are asked to inspect their group before loading vans/busses.
